Unionville Fire in Orange County has purchased a 2008 KME Predator Rescue Pumper with a 1500 gpm Pump and 1000 Gallon Tank. Designated as Engine 744 once in service, It will be replacing a 1999 Freightliner/ 3D Pumper 1250/750/40.

Just saw the Tiller order post on FB for BHFD was on April 1... I fell for it... Clearly an April Fools Joke....

Why did Fort Lee go with  the Ford chassis as opposed to the larger commercial?

There were Numerous mechanical issues with the last 2 international / horton's Infact there's talk of rechassising one on to the Ford F 450 chassis I also believe the can fit all four rigs in their building  The Freightliner's had their issues early on but held up quite well

Confirmed:  The earlier mentioned new Pierce engine for Cornwall (Orange) will be going to Highland as a replacement for the '85 Mack CF.

That Bedford Hills Rescue will turn out nice, turn into an all Seagrave house. Looks like Bedford Village Seagrave had their final inspection last week

Seen a post on facebook in i believe it was a Mack CF Apparatus group, that Dobbs Ferry will do a Pierce remount to the current Mack Aerialscope.. 

Any truth to this?

That's the rumor currently being kicked around. Nothing concrete from a valid source yet.

According to Facebook it is the 6th, I doubt they would do it on a Wednesday.

Thiells FD (Rockland County)  has placed an order for  a new Rescue to replace there 1986 Saulsbury Rescue.

The new Rescue will be a Spartan / Rescue 1 walk around.
