Description:

Brush fire atop Mt.Eve. Initial calls started around 1400, placing it somewhere around the border of the Warwick FD, Pine Island FD, Florida FD borders. Fire located in the Florida fire district on top of Mt.Eve. Florida FD took approx 1.5 hours to reach the fire due to terrain, at which time command requested multiple mutual aid atvs to assist with the fire. Fire line was established and incident was turned over to NYS DEC Forest rangers at approx 2040 for monitoring overnight.
