Bedford Village Firehouse Situation?

Is Bedford still wanting to or trying to move forward with building new firehouse, or at least substation?

I can only imagine with their latest delivery of the rescue, the space can only be even more tight, and having to shuffle the rigs around for whatever call may come in when responding even tougher and time consuming.

Their had been talk about 10 years ago about building an annex near the Shell station, most specifically so they could finally get a tanker.

Theirs is a great old traditional small town, on the green, firehouse, but it is so restrictive for todays apparatus. The pictures of the new 44, even with its slick top, look like it barely gets inside. I'd say they're long overdue for a new firehouse.
