Hartsdale- Large Outside Gas Leak 8-5-13

Time: 0900hrs
Location: 400 block West Hartsdale Ave C/S Ridge Rd & Hillcrest Rd
Units: Hartsdale E-170, E-169, TL-15, C-2172 (IC), Greenburgh PD, M/A Greenville Ladder 4 to standby at Hartsdale Station 1

Description: Con Ed request FD for a ruptured gas main with outside gas odor in area. Greenburgh PD has traffic closed off in area.

UPDATE: Road was closed for 6 hours while situation mitigated.
