Major traffic disruption coming as bridge over Hutch repaired

People who travel the Hutchinson River Parkway in southern Westchester will face major disruptions next week as a bridge deck replacement closes a short stretch of the highway in both directions.

Starting Tuesday morning, those traveling in both directions on the Hutch through Pelham Manor will be diverted through the Boston Post Road exits to bypass the parkway’s bridge over Post Road.

Boston Post Road also will be closed under the bridge and some traffic will be detoured to Interstate 95.

The disruption is scheduled to only last through Friday, with the roads back to normal come Saturday.
