WCPD Prepared For Disorder Control Response Always

Just wanted to remind all out there with news media around the country the PD's are prepared, that WCPD is also prepared 24/7 countywide for disorder control responses all the time. They are most specifically aimed at county government facilities and property and the towns it primarily patrols, but are available mutual aid. Patrol has riot gear in their trunks and ESU carries more riot gear, non-lethal devices and some more tools. Most importantly, they also have the training.

In addition, WCPD maintains a trailer full of gear needed and has prisoner vans available for a disorder control response.

WCPD,along with the other PD's in the County have always been training in the event of an incident.If ever there was an incident,most PD's would use the Mutual aid plan and have a great PD presence in a short period of time.Every Dept has riot gear and mask's available to all front-line members.

If you really want disorder call upon the correction department to assist in the event something were to happen.

I absolutely agree. I just like to highlight police resources available in the County every now and then. With all that's going on in the media, this seemed like a fit time.

Not an issue. ..I believe the more training the better, and especially with as many different people you may work with...So, when it hits the fan you have some familiar ization already....
