Yonkers FD Rescue 1 Apparatus OOS?

Heard that Yonkers Rescue 1 (Apparatus only-2007 American LaFrance) is out of service "for a while"?

Anyone know what happened, or for what "for a while" means? All I know is that it's not collision related.

I hope it's not warranty related, dealing with ALF at trade shows, even to get parts or a place to repair them under contract from ALF has been very murky lately. Would it be Campbell Supply that still has to deal with it, even though they dumped ALF?

If the '07 ALF went OOS, YFD Rescue 1 will probably use Rescue 2, the spare. It's a 2000 ALF that formerly served as Rescue 1.

Over on firepics it was mentioned the frame had cracked, possibly the body as well
