Metro North is not having a good year, with Hurricane Sandy, the recent derailment/collision, and now this. RIP.

WEST HAVEN -- A Metro North Railroad train fatally struck an employee as he worked on the tracks here.

The employee was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said, and train serve through the area was suspended shortly after the 12:15 p.m. incident.
