Approx 1515 Local time large tornado w/ reported severe damage,multiple casualties

Briarwood elemantary school 14901 Hudson Ave, Oklahoma City, OK-multiple subjects pinned beneath debris. Subjects with head injuries.Officer in south end of school req heavy equip for debris removal.

1543 local time-Tornado sirens sounding again. Another tornado forming in the area. Multiple gas leaks. Neighborhoods destroyed.

I-40 PD reporting severe MVAs in the median.

Visual from the Weather Channel courtesy of KFOR shows complete destruction. School is gone.

1551- Entire groups of classes missing. Req assistance for crowd control and search and rescue.

1601- Major gas leak at Briarwood School, Heavy equip en route.

1617-Multiple fatalities being reported. Units advised to secure area where fatalities are found.

Some are reporting this to go down as the worst/deadliest in U.S. history. There's been tons of tornadoes last night and today in Oklahoma. 2 of which hit the town of Shawnee last night and today. Thoughts go out to ALL the emergency responders out there.

From TX TF-1:

Texas Task Force 1 (TX-TF1) along with the Incident Support Team (IST) cache has been activated by FEMA through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and will deploy from their facility in College Station to Oklahoma. The estima...ted time of departure is midnight. The team will assist the local jurisdictions in search and rescue operations across the affected area. The 80 member TX-TF1 “White” Team is a Type 1 Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) Team consisting of Technical and Canine Search components along with Heavy Rescue personnel and equipment. Upon arrival, TX-TF1 will receive assignments from the local Incident Command and assist the jurisdictions as needed while setting up a Base of Operations (BoO) to continue the mission as long as necessary.

Some other teams are deployed to other Midwestern states and probably supporting the operations there, but that's what's physically going to Oklahoma. I'm sure there's a ton of regional/state non-FEMA USAR TFs and IMTs as well, but that's not as easy to track.
