Carteret First Aid Squad has made its last call after 80 years of service

CARTERET — The notice on the Carteret First Aid Squad’s Facebook page said it all.

"Tonight will be the Carteret First Aid Squad’s final night of service," said the notice, dated March 30. "We would like to take this moment to thank the residents, businesses and all of the members past and present for their support and contribution over the past 79 years."
