Emergency! The Complete First Season On DVD In August!!

GREAT NEWS! I love Emergency, I've been waiting forever for this since Cablevision didnt carry TV Land when they showed it, and to have the complete first season on DVD is going to be AWESOME!!!I have a few of the JEMS episode tapes of the show, and I'm hooking and want more!! Each of those tapes was like 30 bucks too.

I'm sure subseqent seasons will be released as well as time progresses.

Do all the younger members know what Emergency is/was???

Just days after we brought you news that Universal would release Emergency! season 1 on August 23, we have official word from the studio.

This 2 disc set (double-sided) will contain 11 episodes from the first season, plus the two-part pilot movie (655 mins). The full frame (1.33:1) picture will be accompanied by an English mono track, and English/Spanish subtitles. Suggested retail price will be $39.98.

We'll post artwork when it's available.

now keep in mind i was born in 1986 but the paramedics that i work with told me about this one show (sort of like a back in the day Third watch) and i got to see it from a Paramedic that i use to work with on sundays he only had one Video of the show but it seem pertty cool

A related question: Is Rescue 911 on DVD at all? I know Emergency was influential to a lot of earlier EMS people, but Rescue 911 is what motivated me at my beginning.

Was I hate to be the one to tell you but in rel life people die. Did anybody ever die on rescue 911?
