NYS Troopers To Drivers: Move Over For Tow Trucks

It's good to see tow trucks are being included, and the law about it promoted! Tow trucks are crucial, as they move disabled and damaged vehicles from the dangers of high speed roadways, and as motorists, remove vehicles so the traffic can flow again.

This law also expands to the HELP and DOT trucks as well.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — State police, the Thruway Authority and towing companies are reminding motorists in New York about the law that requires drivers to change lanes or slow down when approaching roadside vehicles with flashing lights.
