Well, this is certainly a new angle.

"Warning: Beer May Lead To Criminal Activity"

These guys need to learn to take responsiblity for their actions, instead of adding another frivolous lawsuit to the docket and being even more of a burden to society then they already are. It's not enough victims suffered, and the citizens had to pickup hundreds of thousands of dollars for the police,trial and incarceration, now we should give them $1 billion for being stupid? I guess this is part of the blame everybody else society.

Five inmates at the Idaho State Correctional Institution are suing national beer and wine companies for $1 billion, claiming that alcohol was responsible for their crimes, the Associated Press reports. The civil suit alleges that they were not sufficiently warned about alcohol's addictive properties.

What's next? Obese people suing fast food companies for making them overwieght or speeders suing the car companies for allowing the cars to go over the speed limit?

Why should they take responsibility for their actions when they know they can sue for anything. My guess this will go nowhere.
