Off-duty Yonkers firefighter saves neighbor's home

YONKERS — A fire badly damaged the kitchen of former City Councilman Dennis Robertson, but an off-duty firefighter living across the street saved the house from further destruction, Deputy Fire Chief John Flynn said this afternoon.
