While I was in the area on business this week I had to stop by and take pictures of the new Headquarters Building of the Norwalk FD.

Nice to see the new building going up pretty quick, definitely its going to be a 100+ year structure.

For those who done know, HQ is actually Station 2, the "temporary" Station 2 is the Maintenance facility that was built withing the last 10 or so years. I had heard they did some quick renovations so that HQ's apparatus and some offices could be there. The Norwalk guys could tell you better information.

When the new HQ is completed, it will house NFD Engine 2, Truck 2, and the Deputy Chief.
