Description Of Incident: Pedestrian Struck w/Medevac

0559hrs-Base-5 alerting Vails Gate; request to set-up a landing zone for an inbound Medevac for the construction worker struck by a truck.

VGFD units responded to the Temple Hill School on Union Ave and set-up the LZ.

Stat-Flight was overhead shortly thereafter and landed without incident.

NWEMS 175(?) then arrived and turned patient care over to the flight crew. Stat-Flight then lifted off and was en-route to Westchester Medical Center.

All VGFD and NWEMS units picked up and returned to service shortly thereafter.
