Interior Suppression Ops During Sandy

2 posts in this topic

In a fire where an interior attack would be standard, does that change based on the current weather (wind) conditions? I'm mainly refering to "blow torch" effects.

I know this changes things big time in high rises, but there have been incidents where it's become a hinderance at single family dwellings as well.

Is any department changing it's tatics for this storm?

Danbury has a structure fire and apparently one of the ff's actually ventured up onto the roof to cut a ventilation hole despite the wind. Doubt that helps you at all, haha.
