Well, my current dissatisfaction with the Westchester County Parade Judges Association over TL-57 ranking 3rd last week during BHFD's inspection has spawned me an idea.

I'm going to form my own Parade Judges association!!! Yep, thats right!!

As for right now, we will only be judging apparatus.

The first parade we will be tentatively scheduled to (unofficially and in no way sanctioned by PFD, lol) judge will be the Pleasantville Parade on Friday, June 3rd. 901 has agreed to be my co-judge. (Anyone who wants to join me in this endeavor, I'm not exactly sure how this is going to work yet, and too many people may be a PIA, but email me and I will consider it...email, NOT PM) I am also going to try and make a "Members Choice" award from the posted photos and via voting on this forum.

And the main difference between my "association" and the WCPJA's will be this. Our apparatus judging will not be based so much on cleanliness and shininess, but on other factors such as layout, lighting package, striping/graphics/lettering, function, progressiveness, workload, pride taken in the rig, uniqueness, etc etc.

We will be developing categories other stuff in the next couple of weeks. More to follow.....
