Mobile Life's CEO stepping down

Back in January of 1981, Gayle Metzger-Hauser and her husband Rick were one-year married, living in an apartment on Dubois Street in the City of Newburgh and working as paramedics for the failing Hudson Valley Ambulance.

So it was with a heavy heart that Metzger-Hauser announced on Tuesday that she'll be stepping down on Jan. 1 as CEO and president after 32 years at the helm.

Taking over Mobile Life will be Scott Woebse, the current vice president and chief operations officer.
