Cops: Valhalla home was marijuana-growing site

Police have arrested two men and dismantled a marijuana growing operation at a residence at 107 Eastview Drive.

Mount Pleasant police arrived at the one-story ranch-style home this afternoon and seized what Det. Sgt. Art Romaine said was a “very large quantity” of marijuana.

Socrates Gonzalez, 27, and Raul Guncay, 37, both of Middletown have been charged with 3rd degree grand larceny, a felony, for theft of electrical services and second degree criminal possession of marijuana, also a felony.

Great job by all agencies local and federal, glad to see they can work together to get this stuff off the streets. Just goes to show these drug homes can be anywhere.
