Newburgh / West Point Firefighters practice high-angle rescue

NEWBURGH – Ropes suspended 300 feet across St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital and its parking garage in Newburgh carried firefighters in a high-angle rope training exercise Friday. About 30 Newburgh and West Point firefighters participated in the ropes course, administered by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control.
