Select Advantage pre-employment testing

Has anyone had to take a Select Advantage pre-employment personality/psychological profile test for an emergency services job? Select Advantage is a company that creates exams for many different types of employers and is used by them in the pre-employment stages after an application is submitted for a position. I have taken a few of these types of exams and I think they are pretty much useless as far as selecting people who would or would not be a good candidate for an emergency services job. There are many qualified people with many years of experience who do not even make it to the interview stage with a potential employer because of results of the exam.
