Description Of Incident: Engine 4 10-84(o/s) transmitting a 10-75(Working Fire) for heavy smoke showing from the rear of the South Street Seaport Pier 17. Battalion 4 reporting heavy smoke condition en route and transmitting a 2-2(2nd Alarm) for Box 76. Battalion 1 10-84(o/s) reporting fire on the pier and requesting NYPD for crowd control. Division 1 transmitting a 3-3(3rd Alarm) for Box 76. Fire and heavy smoke throughout the 3-story 320'x100' commercial pier. Numerous L/S/O's w/master streams in operation. Ladder Companies opening up. All-Hands Working. All searches negative w/no injuries reported.

16:00hrs. - Engine 4 10-84(o/s) transmitting a 10-75(Working Fire) for Box 76. Engine 4 reporting heavy smoke condition in the rear of a large commercial pier. Battalion 4 transmitting a 2-2(2nd Alarm) for Box 76 above the 10-75(Working Fire).

16:01hrs. - Battalion 1 10-84(o/s) reporting fire on the pier and requesting NYPD for crown control forthwith.

16:05hrs. - Division 1 10-84(o/s) reporting heavy smoke condition in the area.

16:06hrs. - Battalion 1 reporting Marine 6 o/s attacking the fire. Battalion 1 reporting using All-Hands.

16:13hrs. - Division 1 reporting fire on the pier. 1 L/S/O. Division 1 requesting a Cold Water Rescue Ladder Company as an additional F.A.S.T. for divers.

16:26hrs. - Division 1 reporting companies using aggressive exterior attack. Multiple master streams in operation. Division 1 requesting an ETA on the USCG.

16:30hrs. - Marine Battalion requesting Marine 8 with divers on board to respond to fire.

16:33hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting companies using distributor through pier floor. Fire building is a large 3-story commercial 320'x100' pier. Fire is D/W/H.

16:48hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting 3 L/S/O's under pier. Fire is P/W/H.

17:30hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting fire is u/c.
