1548hrs- 88 PCT Sgt. req. ESU to Bridge for suspicious vehicle.

1558hrs- NYPD ESU on scene and will conduct preliminary investigation on truck.

1600hrs- Highway Units, 5th PCT and 88 PCT patrol units shutting down Brooklyn Bridge, both directions.

1604hrs- ESU U-5 (Supervisor) req. Bomb Squad to respond and to enter via Brooklyn side off Tillary St.

1605hrs- NYPD Aviation 19 and Harbor Launch 34 on scene. Additional Aviation and Harbor Units responding. U-5 req. PCT units to remove all pedestrians from bridge as well.

1612hrs- FDNY and FDNY EMS units to stage on Tillary St. X foot of Bridge.

1650hrs- ESU Truck 8 rpts truck has been cleared by Bomb Squad. Units picking up.
