Description Of Incident: Battalion 10 o/s reporting using 2 & 2 for a minor fire in a window AC unit on the 1st floor, Apt. 1E of a 5-story brick 50'x75' OMD. Battalion 10 transmitted the 10-75(Working Fire) for Box 1176 for extension into the upper floors. Battalion 10 transmitted the 2-2(2nd Alarm) above the 10-75(Working Fire), 7-5(All-Hands) for Box 1176 for fire in the cockloft and extension into the 4th and 5th floors and into Exposure # 2. Fire originated in the basement and extended through a shaft to the 1st through 5th floors and into the cockloft. 2 L/S/O's w/Ladder Companies opening up. Division 3 requested 3 additional Ladder Companies and 2 additional Battalions S/C on the 2-2(2nd Alarm) for Box 1176. All-Hands Working. All searches negative. Three firefighters and two victims transported to New York Presbyterian Hospital in critical and stable conditions for various injuries.
