Units Operating: Greenwich Fire Department: the Box Assignment was probably Engine 3, Engine 1, Engine 4, Tower 1, and Car 3.

American Red Cross: Greenwich Disaster Action Team (DAT).

Weather Conditions:

Description of Incident: According to officials the fire started in the kitchen on the 1st floor. Building is a three-story, wood-frame, type-1, OMD. 2 L/S/O's, quick knockdown, few flames, mostly smoke. Nobody was home at the time. No injuries reported. The cause is still under investigation. The displaced couple of the uninhabitable 1st floor apartment declined temporary lodging assistance from the American Red Cross.

15:05 hrs: Working fire reported at 11 Armstrong Court in Norwalk (911 discrepancy, was in Greenwich and at 8 Armstrong Court) (according to The Hour News and Twitter posts).

15:11 hrs: Command reports fire on the first floor. E3 laying in, E1 stretching in.

15:19 hrs: Car 3 (DC1) reports main body of fire knocked down.
