Initial Summary:    Firefighter Faur was attempting to rescue a fallen victim from a liquid manure pit when he was overcome by toxic fumes (hydrogen sulfide).  

He and the victim were rescued and were transported to the hospital.  He remained hospitalized until his death on 04/30/2005.  

The victim died as a result of his injuries also.
