State Reports 60% Decline in Wildfires Since Brush Burning Ban Started in 2010

Since the statewide spring ban on residential brush burning in smaller communities went into effect in 2010, there has been a 60 percent reduction in wildfires

I wonder how much the percentage would rise if farmers were not allowed to burn brush for farming needs.

Confused. Do you mean that there would be more fires if farmers were not allowed to burn or there would be fewer fires if the were not allowed to burn????

I mean how much would the percentage rise...meaning 60% to 70%? 80%? Percentage rising means less fires.
