FASNY recruit weekend

According to the FASNY website approx 400 volunteer departments in NY participated in the FASNY Recruit weekend in April. My question is did any departments see any increase in membership due to the FASNY effort? And on another note what are departments doing besides the FASNY program to not only recruit but to retain membership? We all know most departments are hurting. Hopefully this will open some objectionable discussion. Thank you.

Being there were no replies to this topic I wish to open it again for discussion as we need to discuss recruiting and retention. What are departments doing? Was the FASNY weekend successful for any departments?
