Looks good. Are they gonna add a light bar or are the lights incorporated into the top two take downs?

Didn't see any mounting set up for a full bar.

Was thinking the same, now that i look at each picture closely, it looks like half of the lights on top of the cab are LED, and other is for lightiing. I have never seen that before, 1/2 LED 1/2 Regular lighting. He did say previously that it's going to be all LED Lighting, we shall see.

Those are Whelen Pioneers and contain 1 Spotlight and 1 Flood light in each module. While they can be set up to flash, they are generally not used for emergency response lighting. I'm sure they will be adding a NFPA lightbar latter on in the production process, if not already done.

No problem, Asst. Chief O'Toole can probably give you the details if he pops on again, but the spec prints are here:

The "eyebrow" lights are nice if you're pulling up to an MVA on one of the narrow backroads in town or up one of the long driveways we have so many of. Engine 6 that New Fairfield Company A took delivery of a few years back has them as well, and they've had success with them. One thing you can never have too much of is scene lighting.

It will also be great for Ball Pond to have the 8 man cab as well, we end up filling the 2-man Engine and 2-man Tanker we currently have alot of the time and have to leave people behind in quarters. One of those problems that's a good one to have and an even better one to solve.

6-man Engine* Sorry its early.

Truck is finished (except for a few more decals) and to be delivered VERY soon. Ball Pond is having their meeting tonight, if Chief O'Toole doesn't come on to update I'll ask him for more info tomorrow and post it.

OK Update

The truck is done just putting a few decals on and will be heading to 4guys Sunday to do final inspection on Monday. As soon as we approve the truck it will be heading to The New England Chiefs Show In Massachusetts. The show is June 22,23, & 24. The fire company will be attending the show Sunday. We will then drive the new SQUAD home Sunday afternoon and attempt to put into service Monday the 25, I am very pleased with the work 4 Guys did for us. We have set a date for our WETDOWN August 4, 2012. Hoping to see everyone stop by and see the new rig and hang out for the day. I do have some updated photos but will wait until final inspection day to post.

Getting a bit excited
