Description Of Incident: Report of a house fire at said location. Engine 2 on scene reported a working fire, Engine 8 added as RIT, Engine 4 added as extra engine. Fire in garage and basement area. GEMS was called in for an injured firefighter. Mayday was then transmitted for a firefighter who partially fell through the floor. Firefighter was quickly assisted and ended up with minor injuries. Both transported to Stamford Hospital for observation. House was a total loss. Occupants were not home at the time of the fire, however two dogs were home. One was outside, and the neighbor assisted the other out of the cage to safety.
