Description: Multi-vehicle accident w/multiple injuries & extrication.

4-door Honda Accord stopped in the northbound lane of Albany Post Rd. attempting to turn into body shop was rear-ended by a Ford Explorer at a high rate of speed. This impact sent the Honda into the southbound lane where it struck a Chevy SUV. The Honda continued through the southbound lane where it hit a parked vehicle. There was (1) patient each in the Ford Explorer & Chevy SUV and (2) patients in the Honda and the parked vehicle was unoccupied. Driver of the Explorer RMA'd, while the 3 other patients were tranported by Cortlandt EMS with various injuries ranging from lacerations to possible broken bones.

Buchanan Firefighters had to remove the passenger side door of the Honda to make for an easier removal of the patients.
