INCIDENT: Explorer Monserrat “ Monse” Rodriguez Benefit

LOCATION: 6640 Beach Bl., Buena Park

DATE/TIME: April 20, 2012

SUMMARY:

January 26th, 2102 Buena Park Explorer Monserrat “Monse” Rodriguez suffered from an undiagnosed catastrophic brain injury. Although her condition was initially critical she has improved dramatically over the past 30 days.

“Monse” has been a valued volunteer with the Buena Park Police Department for almost 5 years. Prior to her injury she was in peak physical condition and had aspirations of becoming a Buena Park police officer.

Monserrat’s medical condition requires 24-hr care and intensive physical therapy. Her condition improvesdaily and her prognosis for recovery is excellent.

The Buena Park Police Explorers Post #474 are rallying to support “Monse” by holding a Benefit

Rummage Sale on Saturday & Sunday, April 21st & 22nd. All proceeds will benefit “Monse” in her

recovery and physical therapy.

Got this via an email to Explorer Advisors last night. Just thought I'd pass it along. Danbury PD Explorers may be looking into hosting some kind of benefit for Explorer Rodriguez, if they do I will post the information when it becomes available.
