Bedford Hills location of home invasion Saturday had a barn fire today; news conference at 2

BEDFORD — A Bedford Hills home that was the target of an apparent home invasion Saturday had a fire in a horse barn this morning, authorities said.

The armed robbery at 135 Broad Brook Road in Bedford Hills happened about 9:40 p.m. Saturday. Police went to the home after they got a panic alarm and 911 call from one of the residents and, along with other emergency responders, helped evacuate the people inside.
