Chelsea - MVA with Extrication, tree lands on car 3/6/12

Chelsea firefighters extricated 1 when car lost control on a turn and slamed into some trees and one fell on top of the car nearly killing the occupant. The occupant suffered life threatening injuries and was later transported to Westchester Medical Center.

Good thing there was nobody in the front passenger seat!

That section looks like it took the brunt of the impact.

By the sign on the roof in the first picture you wonder if he was off-roading on the "trail" at the time of the accident. Nice pictures.

Haha, yea, I get what you mean. This accident actually occurred right by the Appalachian Trail crossing on Baxtertown Rd, which is just in from Route 9D.

Actually it's a trail for Stoneykill Farm. The Appalachian Trail is no where near this.
