A baby girl had a dramatic welcome to the world when firefighters helped deliver her in an emergency home birth early today.

Deputy Fire Chief John Flynn said Engine Co. 303 on Vark Street received an emergency call about 4 a.m. about a woman in labor at a multifamily dwelling at 95 School St.
