I also heard that they are replacing Rescue 35. It got destroyed by a engine compartment fire in 2011. They are replacing it with a new KME Predator rescue pumper in mid 2012.

We are only replacing Rescue 35.Bids should be back in the middle of March.KME has parts and equipment that is going to used on the new Engine.

To put an end to this before it spirals out of control. specs were submitted to our Town Purchasing for advertisement purposes. The Department is looking to replace Rescue 35 with a "Rescue" type Engine.

Rescue 35 - RIP!!! ENGINE 266 will be responding!!!!
