Nice rig. I wonder if it still exists. The patrol was active up until quite a few years ago. Now, the only Fire Police Patrols in Greenwich are at the Cos Cob Firehouse on the Post Rd., Glenville, and I believe Round Hill.

It's too bad that they're tearing the old Fire Headquarters on Havemeyer Pl. in Downtown Greenwich down. It's got the "classic" firehouse look to it and was built in 1939. The place is an art-deco edifice. My grandmother grew up around the corner on Grigg St. by the old Greenwich Theater and remembers when tillers used to occupy the building. I believe the Greenwich PD also occupied part of the building for a time a few years back when their current building was being built.

Yes we have her but it's in bad shape. To many years outside !

Still alive but on life support, belive it or not it runs like a champ. It was taken out of service in 1977 and was outside for 34 years.
