Description Of Incident: Companies o/s w/heavy fire showing from the 4th floor of a 4-story brick 125'x40' Class 1 H-Type OMD. Companies forced entry into fire apartment and rescued two victims trapped. Working Fire transmitted. 1 L/S/O w/quick k/d. Truck 2 opening up. Car 2(DC) requesting 1 & 1 S/C for manpower and the Safety Unit S/C. Originally reported as an automatic fire alarm. All searches negative. Victims transported to Norwalk Hospital by NHEMS for smoke inhalation and severe burns. One victim succumbed to injuries at hospital.
