Description Of Incident: Ladder 5 o/s reporting heavy smoke condition on the upper floors of a 7-story brick public housing OMD. Heavy fire in garbage compactor in the basement w/extension into garbage chute. Heavy smoke condition on the 5th and 6th floors. 2 L/S/O's w/quick k/d. Originally reported as a fire on the 6th floor. All searches negative. One victim transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
