Description Of Incident: Companies o/s reporting heavy fire throughout and through the roof of a 3-story wood-frame mixed-occupany building w/extension three exposure buildings. Numerous L/S/O's w/numerous master streams in operation. Companies using aggressive defensive exterior operations. Exposures evacuated. Command transmitting a 2nd Alarm upon arrival. 3rd and 4th Alarm transmitted for heavy fire conditions. 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Alarms transmitted by Command for exposures involved and for manpower. Ladder Companies opening up. All searches negative. Thirteen victims and firefighters treated for minor injuries.
