Please be advised that the Village of Ardsley is in receipt of applications and job descriptions from the County of Westchester for the Summer 2012 season at Rye Playland. A limited supply of applications is available in the Village Clerk's office. The following jobs are available:

Entry Level:

Cashier $7.45 - $9.70 / hour

Ride Operator $8.25 - $10.00 / hour

Restroom Attendant $7.45 - $9.70 / hour

Sweeper / Garbo Attendant $7.45 - $9.70 hour

Beach & Pool Attendant $7.25 - $9.45 hour

Ride Attendant $7.45 - $9.70 hour

Supervisory:

Cashier Supervisor $8.80 - $12.15 hour

Rides Manager $10.50 - $13.50 hour

Management:

Cash Room Personnel $15.00 / hour

Zone Manager $15.50 hour

Summer Auditor: $12.80 - $14.80 hour

Office Positions: $10.00 - $14.80 / hour

Lastly, Playland Job Fairs have been scheduled at the County Center in White Plains [198 Central Avenue] for "On the Spot Interviews" for Saturday, January 14, and Saturday, March 10 between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. Only the first 400 who show up each day are guaranteed interviews. To pre-register for the Job Fairs or obtain an employment application, visitthe website www.RyePlayland.org. Applications can be hand-delivered or mailed to Human Resources, Playland Park, Rye, New York 10580 or scanned and emailed to playlandjobs@westchestergov.com. On the day of the Job Fairs bring your social security card with valid I.D. and three references. Applicants ages 16 and 17 who plan to complete their application at the fair must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
