Description Of Incident: Engine 248 arrived on scene and transmitted a 10-75 for a fire in an 6-story 100x80 OMD apartment complex with fire out the windows and people on the fire escapes. The fire was located in apartment 4G which had Collyer's Mansions conditions. 2 L/S/O with quick K/D. People removed from the fire escapes. Searches delayed due to Collyer's Mansions conditions. An oxygen bottle in the apartment exploded and caused the apartments windows to blow out. An air-conditioner fell from a window and almost landed on a crew of firefighters on the street. Searches conducted on the fire floor and the floor above and below. Fire place U/C by Division 15 @ 12:17.
