Queens - 2nd Alarm Fire 12-31-2011

Weather Conditions: Dry, chilly

Description Of Incident: Box alarm companies received an alarm for a possible house fire. While en-route, Battalion 51 notified Queens of visible smoke from the area and requested and extra Engine & Truck. Engine 258 arrived on scene and transmitted the 10-75 for a working fire in a 2.5-story 20x40 frame P/D. Fire originated in the cellar but spread to the #1 & #2 floors and into the cockloft. 5 L/S, 4 in operation. Primary and secondary searches complete and negative. Extension to exposure #4 (see exposures below). No firefighter or civilian injuries reported. Fire placed U/C by Car 4 "Charlie" @ 08:57.
