Demo trucks...

13 posts in this topic

I saw two fire engines on US 9 South in Old Bridge, NJ today. They were both demo units as they were not lettered and numbered, but they looked pretty cool from the small gimpse that I saw of them. Does anyone know what manufacturer uses a diamond as their logo?

It wasn't a regular diamond, it was kind of rounded on the sides. Although it could be the manufacturer you listed, Seth. Either way, the truck looked really cool.

Yep, that's the one. The demo trucks that I saw looked really interesting. I only wish I could have gotten a better look at them.

I'd like to know which department was having the Crimson demos. If I find out, I'll see if I can get a better look and maybe some pics to post here.

Crimson was created from the merger of 2 separate manufacturer's a year or 2 ago--can't remember which 2 but--would be nice to have some more info on the rigs

Spartan Motors purchased Quality Manufacturing - Alabama, and Luverne Auto - Minnesota, and merged all three into CrimsonFire. This is from CrimsonFire's above noted website
