I was wondering about Mt Vernon after the citizens "re-hired" Ernie! Seemed like the FD was the red headed step child during his tenure.

Emergency services in Mount Pleasant are screwed with John Nonna losing the election for County Legislator. John was a huge support to the FDs and VACs, not to mention an all around great guy!

John wasn't making all the decisions himself. While he was a strong advocate I'm sure it want all him fighting against the decimation of emergency services budgets.
