It's those damn squaters... the last thing Yonkers needs is another Oak Street fire :roll:

They had squatters in a house off Oliver Ave (Nodine Hill near the top of Elm St.) last week set a small fire during the day. The harsh winter increases the chances of these types of jobs.

Never say never, but the Nodine Hill Fire was a 20 year fire. You wont see something like that again in Yonkers for quite some time.

-Also you get all these kitchen fires, because some people don't have the proper heating, and they use there stoves to heat up the apartment, which is very dangerous (This started that major fire in Hastings on Warburton av New Years Day a few years back.)
