Free Flu Shots Serve as Mass Vaccination Drill

County Executive Robert P. Astorino announced today that the Westchester County Department of Health will give college students, police, firefighters and EMS workers in Westchester free flu shots at the Valhalla campus of Westchester Community College while department staffers sharpen their skills to supervise a mass vaccination in the event of a pandemic or bioterrorism incident. This is the second mass vaccine drill that the county has held this month.

The flu vaccine point-of-distribution (POD) exercise will be held in the lobby of the Westchester Community College Physical Education Building on Friday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
