This book tells the story of author Kevin McKeon's 36 year fire service odyssey to photograph all of the apparatus and stations in all 169 cities and towns in the state of Connecticut. Each and every town is covered in this colorful book along with their photos, fire department information and town trivia.

This is Kevin's fourth book. Unlike the other three, this one has, in addition to Connecticut apparatus portraits, photos of stations, memorials, training scenes, fire scenes, among many other features.

The book takes a look into the making of the previous three volumes of the Connecticut Fire Apparatus photo albums and gives thanks to all firefighters and fire buffs he met along the way who have taken fire trucks outside for him to photograph.

He even mentions some details of his fire service career and introduces the reader to his large fire service family.

With 190 black and white and 350 color photos in this commemorative book, its a 'must read' for all firefighters and fire buffs who enjoy fire apparatus, the story of how they were photographed and the many good people who are part of the Connecticut Fire Service Experience.

It's a great book, great photos and alot of information. I polished it off in couple of days. Different from his other books there is alot of high quality color photos.

I have Kevin's three other smaller books which were well put together. I saw the new book and will be picking it up shortly. I've met Kevin a few times and is a great guy. He's a career firefighter with the West Shore Fire District in West Haven.

Great book with tons of information and photos. Will take me a few weeks to read through everything and take it all in. Definetly makes for a great Christmas present.
