An amazing video about the merchant marine response to 9/11

For those of you that don't know who the merchant marine is, it is the fleet of U.S. civilian-owned merchant vessels.

Seeing as how 9/11 was a few days ago, and I just found this video, I think this speaks volumes about how much the merchant marine is ready, willing, and able to help in times of need.

Such a different look, thank you for posting this.

Between this, and the videos of the IMMEDIATE response by civilians to the US Airways Flight 1549, that ditched in the Hudson (Sully), to respond to the call of duty, without question, is proof of the endearing American spirit, and true desire to aid their fellow man.

The recent video of the Utah Civilians Lifting the burning car off of the unconscious motorcyclist, as well, is proof of that.

What an incredible story. I can not believe the stories of the water that day did not get recognized earlier. That is simply an amazing thing. God Bless the people who did what was needed without hesitating.
